iQ Browser is a great web browser that can become an effective tool for each active Internet surfer. It uses a special memory optimization system that makes the process of web page downloading even faster. The program has very simple and easy-to-use interface. It includes all main functional elements that are typical for this kind of software, like history, address bar, scrolling bars and others. The browser has a really great design that can be modified by downloading special skins from the developers’ home page. Another useful feature of iQ Browser is the possibility of using filters for blocking annoying pop-up advertisements. The browser supports modifying of web pages content by enabling or disabling playing sounds, showing images, running scripts and other. Also you can create a list of favorite bookmarks for performing quick access to them. iQ Browser has very low system requirements and doesn’t need a lot of free space on your hard drive. IQ Browser is organized in an intuitive way that's quite similar to other popular tabbed browsers, with a well-designed, easy-to-navigate interface that's also quite nice to look at. The default skin is a dark gray, but you can customize the program's look by choosing from many other skins. Although it lacks the add-on capabilities of big browsers such as Firefox, it does have several excellent features, such as enabling you to create an IQ Browser account so that you can store your bookmarks remotely and access them from anywhere. I also found that pages load lightning quick in IQ Browser; it's among the fastest browsers I've used, in fact. Where IQ Browser falls short is with its ad-blocking feature. Although the pop-up blocker works fine, the content filter doesn't make much sense. The program doesn't seem to have an English language Help file, either, which certainly complicates things and limits its appeal. But for the most part, IQ Browser is enjoyable and as easy to use as any other browser. It may not have all the capabilities of the big-package browsers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, and IQ Browser's speed makes up for any shortcomings.
